History of the Château
From the end of the 100 years war, Capitaine Jean Chatard was the first to look after the Domaine Camiac-et-Saint-Denis. But, it is only in 1834 that François Chaumet, a famous doctor at the time, built the Château thanks to a treasure discovered in the stables which apparently was only part of a much bigger treasure hidden somewhere within the grounds of the Chateau
